You can have Minitab use input values that are in worksheet columns to calculate composite desirability values. Minitab stores the composite desirability values in the next available column and names the column.

Composite desirability values for these settings: Check to store the composite desirability values.

Variable: Shows all the names of variables in your model. This column does not take any input.

Column: Enter the column for each variable that contains the input values for the calculations. By default, Minitab lists the columns used to fit the model. Each column must contain the values for one variable. All columns must be the same length. For a continuous variable, the column must contain numeric or date/time data. For a categorical variable, the column must contain values that match the values you used to fit the model.
