Select area > Editor > Edit Area > Binning

Use to change histogram bin interval type, number, and position.

Interval Type

Midpoint: Choose to define bin intervals by midpoints.

Cutpoint: Choose to define bin intervals by cutpoints.

Interval Definition

Automatic: Choose to accept the default number of bins.

Number of intervals: Choose and enter the number of bins. In some cases, Minitab may use fewer bins than the number you enter in order to make logical bin boundaries.

Midpoint/Cutpoint positions: Choose and enter custom midpoint or cutpoint positions.
