Select all symbols > Editor > Edit Symbols > Jitter

Use to randomly nudge (jitter) points to reveal overlapping points. You can jitter symbols on scatterplots, matrix plots, and 3D scatterplots.

Dialog box items

Add jitter to direction: Check to nudge points so they do not overlap.

X: Type a number from 0 to 1 to specify the amount of jitter in the x-direction.

Y: Type a number from 0 to 1 to specify the amount of jitter in the y-direction.

Z: (3D scatterplot only) Type a number from 0 to 1 to specify the amount of jitter in the z-direction.
