Graph > Line Plot > choose With Symbols - Multiple Y's > OK
Use to display a line plot of multiple variables on the same graph.
Note |
Line plots with many groups can be easier to read when made without symbols. See Line Plots for more information on making an appropriate graph gallery choice. |
Function: Choose a function.
Graph variables: Enter one or more columns of data. Minitab displays all columns on the same graph.
Categorical variable for grouping: Enter the column containing the categorical grouping variable.
Grouping by Graph Variables
Choose one of the following to specify how to distinguish the multiple variables (entered in Graph variables) on your line plot. The variable entered in Categorical variable for grouping will be used for the remaining type of grouping (x-scale groups or legend groups).
Graph variables are X-scale groups: Choose to display the variables as separate items on the x-scale.
Graph variables are legend groups: Choose to display the variables with different data representations and use the legend to identify them.
