Confidence level: Enter the level of confidence desired. Enter any number between 0 and 100. The default is 95.
Hypothesized difference: Enter the null hypothesis value, which is the hypothesized difference in population means d 0 . The default is zero, or that the two population means are equal.
Alternative hypothesis: Choose Difference < hypothesized difference (lower-tailed), Difference hypothesized difference (two-tailed), or Difference > hypothesized difference (upper-tailed) depending on the kind of test that you want.
Assume equal variances: Check to assume that the populations have equal variances. The default is to assume unequal variances. See Equal or unequal variances.
