Use to specify the values at which to hold continuous and categorical variables. When the model has more than two continuous variables, Minitab holds each continuous variable that is not in the plot at a constant value. All categorical variables in the model are also held constant.

You can set the hold level for continuous variables that are not in the plot.

Dialog box items

You can select one of the three choices for settings or enter your own by typing a value in the table.

Hold extra continuous variables at:

Name: Shows the names of all continuous variables in your model. This column does not take any input.

Setting: Enter a value to hold each continuous variable that is not being plotted.

Hold extra categorical variables at:

Name: Shows the names of all categorical variables in your model. This column does not take any input.

Setting: Choose a level for each categorical variable.
