Stat > Quality Tools > Acceptance Sampling by Attributes > Options
Allows you to choose the hypergeometric distribution if you have an isolated lot and go/no go data. By default, Minitab displays the probability of acceptance for the AQL and RQL. You can also specify additional quality levels for Minitab to calculate the probabilities of acceptance. For example, if the AQL is 0.001 and the RQL is 0.025, you may also want to investigate the probabilities of acceptance at the 0.005 and 0.01 quality levels. You can also enter the maximum risks you are willing to incur to try to reduce the sample size.
Use hypergeometric distribution for isolated lot: Check to use the hypergeometric distribution to find a sampling plan when you have go / no go data from an isolated lot of finite size. See Choosing the hypergeometric distribution for more information.
Enter additional quality levels to calculate acceptance probabilities: Enter defective quality levels for Minitab to calculate corresponding acceptance probabilities, using the appropriate units.
You may increase Alpha and Beta slightly for alternative plans with smaller sample sizes
Maximum Alpha allowed: Enter the maximum producer's risk that you are willing to accept. By increasing the producer's risk, you may be able to reduce the sample size required.
Maximum Beta allowed: Enter maximum consumer's risk that you are willing to accept. By increasing the consumer's risk, you may be able to reduce the sample size required.
