GP是与通用公司配套的汽车件生产厂商出厂前的最后一道检验程序，目的是供方站在顾客的角度对产品入库前进行最后一道工序的检查。

GP10、GP11、GP12并非是质量管理方法，而是通用汽车(GM)针对内部及供应商培训的一些质量管理流程的缩写。
