Stat > DOE > Factorial > Contour Plot > Settings

Use to specify the values at which to hold continuous and categorical variables. When the model has more than two continuous variables, Minitab holds each continuous variable that is not in the plot at a constant value. All categorical variables in the model are also held constant.

Note

The default setting for each continuous variable is its mean.

Dialog box items

You can use the default values or enter your own values by typing or choosing a value in Setting.

Hold factors at:

Variable: Shows all the names of factors in your model. This column does not take any input.

Setting: Specify a level to hold each factor. If the model has more than 6 factors, use the up and down arrows to move in the Setting column.

Hold covariates at:

Variable: Shows all the names of covariates in your model. This column does not take any input.

Setting: Enter a value to hold each covariate. If the model has more than 6 covariates, use the up and down arrows to move in the Setting column.
