Select all bars > Editor > Edit Bars > Groups

If you have grouping variables or multiple graph variables on an interval plot, individual value plot, or bar chart, you can assign different attributes (color, fill type) to each group.

You can also add or change grouping variables on a histogram.

Dialog box items

Assign attributes by categorical variables: (Graphs with grouping variables only) Enter one or more columns of categorical grouping variables to assign different attributes (color, fill type) to each group and display a legend. You can enter up to four columns for bar chart and three for other graphs.

Assign attributes by graph variables: (Graphs with multiple graph variables only) Check to assign different attributes (color, fill type) for each graph variable and display a legend.

Apply attribute variables to other data displays: Check to update all data displays, such as symbols and connect lines, to use the same attribute variables as the bars.
