For a:	You need:
Matrix of plots	At least 2 and no more than 20 numeric or date/time columns of equal length.
Matrix plot of each y versus each x	At least 1 column of numeric or date/time data of equal length for each axis.

You may also use up to 3 columns of categorical data for grouping.

If either the x- or y-value for an observation is missing, Minitab does not plot the observation.
