Response data for one-way ANOVA must be numeric. You do not need to have the same number of observations in each factor level (group). Enter data in the worksheet in one of two ways:

·    The response data are in one column and factor levels are in a separate column. The factor level column can be numeric, text, or date/time. If you wish to change the order in which text categories are processed from their default alphabetical order, you can define your own order. See Ordering Text Categories.

·    The response data for each factor level are in separate columns of the worksheet.
