Use this analysis to:

·    Determine whether the means of two or more groups differ

·    Obtain a range of values for the difference between each pair of groups

·    Graph your data

Minitab performs the traditional One-Way ANOVA procedure if you assume that the variance is constant across all groups. However, if your data exhibit unequal variances between groups, Minitab can perform Welch's ANOVA. To perform Welch's ANOVA, uncheck Assume equal variances in the Options dialog.

Response data are in one column for all factor levels

Response: The response column contains the continuous measurements.

Factor: The factor column indicates which group each measurement belongs to.

Response data are in a separate column for each factor level

Responses: Enter the columns that contain the values for the response. Each column contains the continuous measurements for a separate group.
