Display Descriptive Statistics

Number of Observations - N and N*

  

N and N* provide information on the number of observations in a data set:

·    N is the number of non-missing values.

·    N* is the number of missing values. If there are no missing values, this statistic is not presented.

All other displayed statistics are based solely on the non-missing values.

Interpretation

For the precipitation data, N = 11 and N* = 1.
