[*]Facilitate to set up local supplier panel of Schmitz Wuhan based on localization supplier sourcing strategy.
[*]Follow up supplier development progress and open issues until its closure and approve supplier PPAP in line with project timing plan.
[*]Monitoring Supplier Performance Quality Rating on a monthly basis and schedule follow up audits and reviews for assigned suppliers.
[*]Champion supplier PPM reductions and problem solving (i.e. focus on poor performance suppliers, critical Issues, high PPM, fields returning…)
[*]In charge of incoming inspection for purchasing assy/components and raw material.
[*]Maintain Supplier quality documentation (Supplier APQP/PPAP files, supplier performance records, evaluations, containment activities, etc.) per supplier
[*]Facilitate Supplier’s continuous improvement (e.g. VA/VE, Kaizen…).
[*]Must comply with all work rules, policies and procedures.
[*]Must comply with all safety rules and regulations.
[*]Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
[*]Bachelor's degree required (Engineering, Science, Technical or Business)
[*]Knowledge for welding
[*]Experience in APQP and PPAP required
[*]Strong problem solving, decision making and prioritization skills required
[*]Ability to read and understand engineering drawing, measurement and/or scales gauges
[*]Ability to work independently and meet deadlines, flexible, result-oriented, team spirit
[*]Good verbal and written communication skills required, Oral and written English is a must
[*]Microsoft Office computer skills, particularly in Word, Excel, MS Outlook…
[*]More than three years quality development or SQE experience strongly preferred
