Allocates the mean and variance pools associated with the gap distribution. This dialog box is the second of two used in the calculation of tolerances. The first dialog box is Calculate Gap Pools.

At this point, you need to allocate the mean and variance pools to obtain a Z.Bench of 4.5 for the design.

Dialog box items

Allocation weights for gap mean pool: Enter a column of allocation weights for the elements in the assembly for the gap mean pool.

Store adjusted means: Check to store adjusted means.

Allocation weights for gap variance pool: Enter a column of allocation weights for the elements in the assembly for the gap variance pool.

Store adjusted standard deviations: Check to store adjusted standard deviations.
