On June 25, 2022, the IFT will make effective some modifications in the Conformity Assessment Procedure (PEC).
Among the changes it should be noted that:
The CoC becomes transferable. This allows local Mexican importers to use CoCs from other local companies.
The validity period of the test report is extended from 60 days to 120 days, this to prevent its validity from expiring during the homologation process.
The number of samples required during the tests changes.
