To ensure best-in-class quality from Whirlpool’s Electronic Contract Manufacturers (ECM), this specification provides the minimum manufacturing quality and process control standards to supply product to Whirlpool.
1.2 Scope
This standard defines the minimum requirements for manufacturing quality and process control of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA) to the Whirlpool Corporation. This standard applies to all Whirlpool PCBA suppliers. Whirlpool may impose supplemental requirements to this standard when needed.
