Is Your Organization RoHS Compliant for 2021?Any business that sells applicable electrical or electronic products, equipment, sub-assemblies, cables, components, or spare parts directly to RoHS-directed countries, or sells to resellers, distributors or integrators that in turn sell products to these countries, is impacted if they utilize any of the restricted 10 substances. With the rapid spread of digitization, the world's production of electrical and electronic devices is exploding. Besides mobile devices, think about the coming wave of IoT, smart home assistants, robOTS, drones, 3D printers, and home medical devices to all corners of the planet....they are all regulated under RoHS. EU RoHS specifies maximum levels for the following 10 restricted substances. The first six applied to the original RoHS while the last four were added under RoHS 3, which took effect July 22, 2019. - Cadmium (Cd): < 100 PPM
- Lead (Pb): < 1000 ppm
- Mercury (Hg): < 1000 ppm
- Hexavalent Chromium: (Cr VI) < 1000 ppm
- Polybrominated Biphenyls (PBB): < 1000 ppm
- Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers (PBDE): < 1000 ppm
- Bis(2-Ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP): < 1000 ppm
- Benzyl butyl phthalate (BBP): < 1000 ppm
- Dibutyl phthalate (DBP): < 1000 ppm
- DiISObutyl phthalate (DIBP): < 1000 ppm

RoHS 1：2002/95/EC，6 restricted substances，July 1, 2006～
RoHS 2：2011/65/EU，6/10 restricted substances，July 21,2011～July 21, 2019
RoHS 3：EU 2015/863，10 restricted substances，July 22, 2019～/ (electrical equipment: July 22, 2021～)
居然有 RoHS 3 ！
理解一下：
RoHS 1，须测六项，始于2006年7月1日：
- 镉（<0.01% / <100ppm）
- 铅（<0.1% / <1000ppm）
- 汞（<0.1% / <1000ppm）
- 六价铬（<0.1% / <1000ppm）
- 多溴联苯（PBB）（<0.1% / <1000ppm）
- 多溴联苯醚（PBDE）（<0.1% / <1000ppm）
RoHS 2，可测六项，也可测十项，依需要或顾客要求，始于2011年7月21日，终于2019年7月21日（医疗器械延期两年）：
- 镉（<0.01% / <100ppm）
- 铅（<0.1% / <1000ppm）
- 汞（<0.1% / <1000ppm）
- 六价铬（<0.1% / <1000ppm）
- 多溴联苯（PBB）（<0.1% / <1000ppm）
- 多溴联苯醚（PBDE）（<0.1% / <1000ppm）
- 邻苯二甲酸二（2-乙基己基）酯（DEHP）（<0.1% / <1000ppm）
- 邻苯二甲酸丁苄酯（BBP）（<0.1% / <1000ppm）
- 邻苯二甲酸二丁酯（DBP）（<0.1% / <1000ppm）
- 邻苯二甲酸二异丁酯（DIBP）（<0.1% / <1000ppm）
RoHS 3，须测十项，始于2019年7月22日，其中，医疗器械有两年的延期：
- 镉（<0.01% / <100ppm）
- 铅（<0.1% / <1000ppm）
