On 29 December 2021 Resolution No. 931 which establishes a compliance regime for certain articles of Resolution No. 410/2017 was approved by the Paraguayan Ministry of Industry and Commerce.
The Resolution:
Changes point 5.8 of article 5 of Resolution No. 410/2017 to determine the digital presentation for each application for import license for mobile cellular telephone devices of:
1) Certificate of Approval for Cell Phone Devices granted by CONATEL; or
2) Proof of submission of the approval certificate application to CONATEL.
Suspends item 9 of article 5 and item 4 of article 7 of Resolution No. 410/2017 on CONATEL's proof of the IMEI listing record and prior license for the importation of mobile phone devices and non-integrated mother boards of mobile phones, respectively.
This Resolution will enter into force from 1 April 2022 and expire on 30 September 2022.
