Core Tools Self-Assessment
AIAG has developed a free online survey to test basic competency in the automotive quality Core Tools, e.g. APQP/PPAP, FMEA, MSA and SPC, which you can use to baseline your organization's and/or your suppliers' competency. The questions reflect information that everyone in automotive quality today should know and was developed with the required knowledge for third-party IATF 16949 auditors as an input. Results can be used 1) to verify the effectiveness of your quality Core Tools training, 2) for supplier development, e.g. Tier 2, and 3) to develop individual or group improvement plans. This is not a certification program.
Description
AIAG has developed a free online self-assessment to test basic competency in the automotive quality Core Tools (i.e., APQP/PPAP, FMEA, MSA and SPC) which you can use to baseline your organization's and/or your suppliers' competency. The questions reflect information that everyone in automotive quality today should know, and was developed with the required knowledge for third-party IATF 16949 auditors as an input. Results can be used 1) to verify the effectiveness of your quality Core Tools training, 2) for supplier development, e.g. Tier 2, and 3) to develop individual or group improvement plans.
This is not a certification program. It is an "open book" timed (75 minutes) exercise that all automotive quality practitioners should master. Results are communicated as a percent of correct responses by Core Tool. You can register for the self-assessment as many times as you would like, however, please note that you may only register once in any given month. Don't miss your opportunity to get this information at an incredible value!
Please Note: You will have access to the eLearning module for 30 days after your registration date. Upon completion, you will receive a results letter via email. Organizational summary reports are available by request through quality@aiag.org.
