The amfori BSCI System Manual has been updated in 2022. The audience of this document involves mainly amfori members, their business partners, amfori monitoring partners and monitoring persons. This updated version of the amfori BSCI System Manual consists of four main parts and Guide documents which provide the audience and system users with detailed information.
Each part provides information about business rules and processes of the amfori BSCI System.
Part 1 / explains amfori BSCI due diligence approach and implementation steps in practice together with practical tools and services that amfori brings for its members and their business partners.
Part 2 / targets amfori members, their business partners, monitoring partners and monitoring persons. It provides both an overview of the amfori BSCI’s holistic monitoring approach and an explanation of the entire amfori BSCI monitoring process, from requesting and scheduling a monitoring to performing one and following up.
Part 3 / provides amfori members and auditors support in the interpretation of the questions of the amfori BSCI audit questionnaire.
Part 4 / consists of four chapters that provide the business partner with explanation of all relevant documents and guides that amfori BSCI makes available for them and specific guidelines on what is expected in every performance area.
18 guide documents / are developed to accommodate and support amfori members and their business partners in the implementation of amfori BSCI Monitoring Activities: Self-Assessment, amfori Social audits, and Continuous Improvement. |
