Stat > Control Charts > Attributes Charts > C

Tracks the number of defects and detects the presence of special causes. Each entry in the specified column contains the number of defects for one subgroup, assumed to have come from a Poisson distribution with parameter m. This value is both the mean and the variance. Use C Chart when the subgroup size is constant.

By default, the process average number of defects, m, is estimated from the data. This value is the center line on the C chart. Minitab also uses this value to calculate the control limits.
